Female Brazilian Laser Hair Removal in Edmonton – Bush Whacked Laser Has a Good Deal

Early this week we received a comment on our Laser Hair Removal Prices in Edmonton, Alberta page from a company called Bush Whacked Laser in Edmonton, Alberta. They wanted to inform us that full laser hair removal on legs for Women is $273 per session and for men it is $333 per session.

We checked out their site, located here, it is a little light on content and visuals, but we noticed that they have a promotion of Women’s Brazilian Laser Hair Removal, 4 sessions for $175. Last year we did a comparison of pricing of Female Brazilians across Canada and can say this is a pretty good deal.

That said, this is only based on the web. Always do your research and before making a commitment to get any work done, check out the location, the person and do some background work. After all, you are about to let somebody have access to your privates so you want to make sure they are on the up and up.

Does anybody have any comments on this business in Edmonton?

Update on Getting a Male Brazilian in Calgary, #yyc

Back in January we did a post on getting a male Brazilian done in Calgary, Alberta. We recently received a comment on that post from Annette Burwash, the owner of The Gateway Spa for Men who informed us of 10-years experience on this subject, so we decided to check out the site.

In keeping to our mission of providing as much information as possible, they do a great job of outlining the cost of their laser hair removal + waxing services for me. Here is what we discovered.

They call it “below the belt” which we assume is the bikini region. The cost per session is $399 according to their site. From the post back in January, this seems to be on the higher side, however, as we always point out, you should do your research by calling all companies to ensure they offer exactly the service you want. Price alone on a website should not be the only determinant.

So if you are a male living in Calgary and planning to get rid of your pubic hair, check out the site above and make sure you read our first post, Getting a Male Brazilian via Laser Hair Removal in Calgary with Prices – where we feature 7 more companies in Calgary who provide this service.

Silkn for Male Home Laser Hair Removal – The Male Brazilian – Part 3

Welcome to the third posting in my series of my experience with the Silkn Home Laser Hair Removal system and the male body. This post will focus on the male brazilian and yes for the purposes of the web I am removing all my hair down there – actually not just for the purposes of the web, my wife and I enjoy the look and feel better.

What exactly as I am doing with the Silkn you might ask, well this picture explains it best:
Male Brazilian Style.

The big question – is it working? The short-answer is yes, although not as dramatic as my post on using the Silkn on male armpits. Overall I would say that I am achieved roughly 60% reduction from the time I started shaving in the pubic region. In the bikini line that number is more like 80% and the shaft and the scrotum are probably around 70%.

There results are actually not bad when you consider the analysis and the cost needed to get to this stage. Here is a more technical analysis, Continue reading

Pits and Bits at Hummingbird Medical Institute in Calgary

I completed my laser hair removal sessions in 2008 to remove all the hair from my pits (armpits) and bits (pubic region). In the pubic region I decided to go completely bare, everything removed. Before I get into the full story here is a little bit about myself. I am an early 30s women with a professional career here in Calgary, Alberta. I live a pretty active life of exercise, work and socializing so laser hair removal was a great way to save lots of time. I decided to remove the hair from my armpits, this was a no-brainer, I shaved this area constantly as well as all my pubic hair. My pubic hair was also a pretty easy choice since I have been shaving it since it started to grow. In the picture below I went with the bottom right. Continue reading
